It is a 100% natural yarn which comes directly from free-range sheep that roam green fields and are sheared only once per year. It is a harmless process to shear sheep and they completely grow their fleece back in 10 months. We are partial to wool as a carpet yarn because it is absolutely renewable and has no negative impact on the natural circle of life. In addition to being the most sustainable fiber in the world wool is also completely biodegradable. In fact wool’s main component is keratin, an organic protein with particular chemical characteristics which allow it to fully dissolve into the earth, adding extra nutrients to the soil.

مواد اولیه بافت فرش و قالیچه

مواد اولیه ی بافت  فرش و قالیچه ، اولین و محبوب ترین نخ فرش ، پشم است. چرا که پشم  یک نخ صد در صد طبیعی است که مستقیماً از گوسفندهایی تهیه می شود که در مزارع سبز میچرند  و فقط یک بار در سال پشم آنها را جدا میکنند . برش گوسفندان یک فرایند بی ضرر است و آنها طی ۱۰ ماه به طور کامل پشم خود را می پرورانند. ما پشم گوسفندان را برای نخ فرش  استفاده میکنیم زیرا کاملاً قابل تجدید است و تأثیر منفی بر دایره طبیعی زندگی ندارد. علاوه بر پایدارترین الیاف موجود در جهان ، پشم نیز کاملاً تجزیه پذیر است. در واقع جزء اصلی پشم کراتین است ، یک پروتئین ارگانیک با ویژگی های شیمیایی خاص که به آن اجازه می دهد به طور کامل در زمین حل شود و مواد مغذی اضافی را به خاک اضافه کند.

Silk

Our next carpet yarn, and one more luxurious than wool, is silk. Thai silk is famous all over the world and The Carpet Maker’s headquarters are based in the area of Thailand where silk has been produced through the generations for hundreds of years. Silkworm breeding is a tradition here and we can still find many producers around our offices. If silk is the most expensive yarn and deserves its famous reputation as a textile yarn it is mostly because of its soft touch, its comfortable feeling and its shiny appearance compared to any other material. Besides being the most elegant carpet yarn, silk has many advantages: it has strong mold resistance, it doesn’t store static electricity and thanks to its filament fibers it doesn’t shed, making silk the strongest natural material. We could also point out the sad fact that producing silk requires the sacrifice of many silk worm cocoons.  It’s for this reason that we also produce a synthetic silk, K-Silk which doesn’t involve silk worms in its production process. ابریشم

نخ بعدی ما ، ابریشم یکی از نخ های لوکس تر از پشم بشمار می آید .  ابریشم تایلندی در سراسر جهان مشهور است و دفتر مرکزی فرش ساز در منطقه ای از تایلند قرار دارد که صدها سال است ابریشم را در نسل های مختلف تولید می کند. پرورش کرم ابریشم یک سنت در اینجا است و ما هنوز هم می توانیم تولیدکنندگان زیادی را در اطراف دفاتر خود پیدا کنیم. اگر ابریشم گرانترین نخ است و مستحق شهرت به عنوان یک نساجی است ، بیشتر بخاطر جنس نرم آن ، احساس راحتی و ظاهر براق آن در مقایسه با سایر مواد است. ابریشم علاوه بر اینکه ظریف ترین نخ فرش است ، دارای مزایای زیادی است: از مقاومت قوی در برابر قالب برخوردار است ، الکتریسیته ساکن را ذخیره نمی کند و بخاطر الیاف رشته ای که دارد زود ازبین نمی رود  و ابریشم را محکم ترین ماده طبیعی می سازد . ما همچنین می توانیم به این واقعیت غم انگیز اشاره کنیم که تولید ابریشم مستلزم قربانی شدن بسیاری از پیله های کرم ابریشم است. به همین دلیل است که ما یک ابریشم مصنوعی ، تولید می کنیم که کرم ابریشم را در فرآیند تولید خود دخیل نمی کند. دربافت نخ فرش ما به نوآوری اهمیت می دهیم.

Cotton

To begin, the most renowned plant-based carpet yarn is cotton. Cotton is the most popular material used in making clothes, and not only because it is so comfortable. There are chemical reasons as well. For example it is important to notice that since cotton comes from a plant it is capable of absorbing up to 8.5% of its weight in water, which is perfect for a tee-shirt absorbing perspiration or a cotton mat soaking up water in the bathroom. Cotton also has insulating attributes which hold heat close to the body and make cotton clothes and carpets feel so warm.

پنبه

برای شروع ، معروف ترین نخ فرش گیاهی پنبه است. پنبه محبوب ترین ماده ای است که در ساخت لباس مورد استفاده قرار می گیرد و نه تنها به دلیل راحت بودن آن. دلایل شیمیایی نیز وجود دارد. به عنوان مثال توجه به این نکته ضروری است که از آنجا که پنبه از یک گیاه به دست می آید ، می تواند تا ۸.۵ درصد وزن خود را در آب جذب کند ، که برای یک پیراهن پیراهنی که عرق را جذب می کند یا یک تشک پنبه ای که آب را در حمام جذب می کند ، بسیار مناسب است. پنبه همچنین دارای ویژگی های عایق است که گرما را در نزدیکی بدن نگه می دارد و باعث می شود لباس ها و فرش های پنبه ای بسیار گرم شوند.

Linen

Another natural carpet yarn made from plants is linen. The main component of linen is called flax which belongs to the bast fiber category and it has been used by carpet manufacturers since the ancient Mesopotamian era. There are many advantages to be found in using linen. First it needs a lot less water to grow than cotton plants, and it doesn’t require the use of enzymatic fertilizers.  Also, linen is an extremely durable material – almost three-times more so than cotton.  It doesn’t accumulate static electricity, and linen is even biodegradable.

کتانی

نخ طبیعی فرش دیگری که از گیاهان تهیه می شود کتان است. جزء اصلی کتان کتان نامیده می شود که متعلق به دسته الیاف باست است و از زمان قدیم بین النهرین از تولیدکنندگان فرش استفاده می شده است. مزایای زیادی در استفاده از پارچه کتانی وجود دارد. ابتدا برای رشد بسیار کمتری نسبت به گیاهان پنبه نیاز دارد و نیازی به استفاده از کودهای آنزیمی ندارد. همچنین ، کتان یک ماده بسیار بادوام است-تقریباً سه برابر پنبه. این الکتریسیته ساکن را جمع نمی کند و کتانی حتی تجزیه پذیر است.
